They are both critical, do both! Warm Portland is your opportunity to drive real structural change while you continue to work to comfort and support our unhoused neighbors. WarmPortland.org is a loving Political Action Committee (PAC). While we raise money and endorse candidates our primary mission is to learn about - then teach others how Portland municipal policy drives who is on the street today and why.
1. Use this site as resource to learn more, or 2. Join Warm Portland to receive communications from the team, or 3. Donate to help us scale our impact.
We can see that our unhoused neighbors suffer but it is harder to see how municipal policy affects them. It's complicated and even well meaning leaders can stumble. We'll work hard to provide open and honest analysis here of what's happening with Portland's unhoused residents.
We must engage and teach others in the community, give them the same emotional access we have to what's happening.
Donate. Help WarmPortland operate - help candidates who get it - get elected.
For the right candidates. Check to see who Warm Portland endorses and why.
Warm Portland is comfortable with technology, but our community consists of real people in the real world.
